Ball Joint Replacement Price?

The shop says I need new ones, just checking on the ballpark price for this on an E350.

I have really decent takeoffs from my big brake upgrade if you are interested. They are in my dynatrac turn plates. The turn plates are not on my van because I got the big brake version. I think you could just swap and be done. There is also HD warn hubs.

I got quoted in the ballpark of $1200 - $1500 for replacing ball joints and tie rod ends on my e350 7.3 EB. That was a year ago so who knows how much it is now.

Yep, that's what I was afraid of.

Thanks, the ball joint replacement price is mostly labor, but I might take you up on that.

This is for Vandiesel -- how much was your big brake upgrade and which "upgrade" package did you choose ? i'm not "schooled" nor a mechanic nor knowledgable on brake upgrades - so any info/knowledge you could pass on would be GREATLY appreciated ! I've got a 2002 E350 - V10 - Quigley - that tops out at close to !0,500 when loaded. Just upgraded my torque arms to newer tube steels - and added a RIP Kit last April. PM me if you see a need ? Thanks !

I went waaaaay overboard and did 2008 calipers, dynatrac big turn plates, hydro boost, dynatrac rebuildable ball joints, redhead steering gear, dynatrac locking hubs, and 35 spline axle stubs. All my take off stuff was in great shape including the brakes. I have been acquiring these parts for a few years and finally just did it all. The van was new to me in 2018 and wanted insurance that I could stop an don't ever get stranded. My ball joints I took off were "new" so speak in that they have less than 15k on them. All my stuff is on a cart in my shop and I've been negligent trying to sell it off. I will let it all go cheap.

I just bought both sides top and bottom Spicer for just under $200.00. I was leary but they came in the Spicer box. I have a quote for install for all four by an alignment shop at $600.00 + alignment. Local Offroad shop was $700.00 w/alignment. So I will be doing them myself (done many) and use my $700 +$100.00 for a rebuilt divorced NP205 for my 1970 F250 hobby conversion. Win win for me!
I have married NP205 for Chevy and Ford if any interest!
I still have a Fiberine top for RB Econoline

Sorry to derail this thread but have a question about brake upgrades. I've done (hired out) a 2008 swap onto a 2003 E-250 chassis so am aware what the differences are---how does a similar upgrade on a 4x4 compare?
