Bill Burke - Big Truck Training 8/20-8/88 Colorado

FYI, from Bill's e-mail list.

Big Truck Training Adventure
Roosevelt National Forest (CO) 8/20-8/22 $630./vehicle. Limit 5 vehicles.
This 3-day training session will take place in the Red Feather Lakes area
west of Fort Collins, CO. It is for full size vehicles only. Vehicles like
the 4x4 Van conversions, truck campers and even the full size expedition
rig, including Quigley, Sportsmobile, Earth Roamer, Fuso, Camper trucks and
other full size vehicles. We will travel some of the established rugged
roads that are off the beaten path, similar
to what you would encounter when traveling on your adventure. We will camp
out in route so this trip can be a shake-down cruise if you need it to be.
Let's get the bugs out! Read more at www.bb4wa.com/training/group.htm

Re: Bill Burke - Big Truck Training 8/20-8/88 Colorado

Interesting, another Bill Burke heavy vehicle class. The May Moab all SMB class was excellent, especially for a 4X4 novice such as myself. The only thing I wish we would have spent more time on would be some spotter training. Bill makes it look very easy, and I suspect it's not.

The August class is listed as a full 3 days for $630, while Moab was 2 1/2 days for $550, if I remember correctly.
