Bill Burke in SoCal Sat 12/8

For those of you who know Bill Burke, or are interested in meeting him, he's going to be at Expedition Exchange this Saturday for the 20th anniversary celebration of his company, which he's hosting as a fundraiser for a local animal shelter.

I'll be down there for part of the day, but not in my SMB.

People missed a great opportunity.

The certificate for 4 BF Goodrich tires (any size), was auctioned off for only $600 or $650. Too bad for me I just bought a set of 4 new tires last month!

A 9000lb Superwinch went for $400 or $450. Would have gone well on my Bronco, but I need to get rid of debt, not add to it.

Lots of other good thins auctioned off with all proceeds matched by 4 Wheeling America, and donated to the Escondido Animal Shelter.

Herb,
Did you see me there with my white SMB...the only SMB there? I was the guy who bought the 60" Hi-Lift. If I had known you were there I would have liked to meet you.

I definitely saw the white SMB there. Like most other SMBs, it's hard to miss.

I think I recall you with the Hi-Lift. If I had a decent mounting method for the 60" on my Bronco, I probably would have bid against you.

Herb

P.S. I was there with my tan '85 Landcruiser (with '88 Chevy V8) that had a For Sale sign in it.
