Can someone identify this? **SOLVED!**

You are looking at the front passenger side wheel of my Quadvan-converted E-350 (essentially an F-350 assembly). Notice that the brake fluid line and what I think is the vacuum line for the automatic 4WD hub or maybe the ABS or speed sensor cable are prevented from entering the coil by a guard, but this mystery line is routed right through the coil. On this one I notice that it has already been pinched. Is it safe just to detach it, re-route it and reattach it?

Do you have auto hubs? If not you can remove it and plug the hole with a bolt.

Done. The rubber line just pulls off the nipple that is screwed in the hub. No unscrewing necessary. Fixed and thank you!

I do have auto hubs with a manual override at the hub. Very handy!

I'm not removing it. I need it. I like my auto hubs and they are working just fine. I just needed the line to not be passing through the coil and getting pinched.
