Deaver or National Springs?

Thanks for the great info from everyone so far. I hear about Deaver the most on here for springs on my 2006 Quigley but National Spring is about 15 minutes from my house and a lot less expensive. A call to both sounds like they do/make the same thing but Deaver is at $1700.00 and National $1000.00 installed for rear springs. No to mention the drive to Deaver.

I don't mind paying more if I am getting more. I know from the forums here that Deaver is proven by many. Any experience with National on here?

Thanks in advance!

Brent

Re: Deaver or National Springs?

Just be sure what you're getting- Deaver is 11 leaf, they go right down to the spring perch size, plus they have experience with SMB (e.g. it doesn't ride like a dumptruck anymore... not that any spring shop shouldn't be able to help with that)

That said, they guys at the shop looked at them and were like "we could build that..." but I didn't see anything similar in the 50 or so sets of springs in stock and after their install I seriously doubt they'd be able to do anything of the sort.

Re: Deaver or National Springs?

Jage, when you say "Those guys" is that what National said when you visited them? Not sure what the last paragraph means?
