Doing brakes on my Quigley and I need help identifying a par

I'm in the middle of a complete rebuild on my kingpin 60 and I had a bit of trouble getting the calipers off. The slide "wedge" that locks the caliper onto the bracket was quite rusted and seized in place and it got slightly mangled during removal.

Here's a picture of the one that is in OK shape. I know I can buy a caliper hardware kit that should have these in it but I don't know what vehicle these come on.

I got the parts counter worker to bring up the kit for an 85 Chev K30, a Dodge W350 and a 95 Ford F-350 and they kits that he brought up all looked different than mine.

Any help identifying what part this vehicle is off of?

What year is your quigley?
My 95 has all Ford F-350 parts.
I just swapped hubs, did new rotors and calipers.
Mine had thin metal spring clips to hold pads in place. My d60 is not a kingpin
Yours is definitely different.
On expedition portal there is a thread about swapping hubs on a kingpin d60. You may find info there. Thread is by Ozrockrat
I'll see if I can find you a link.

IMO I think what you have is an Oversize Brake Caliper Key an Oversize Key is used to compensate for excessive clearances caused by worn parts which can cause vibration and noise. here are a couple links that may give you more information.http://www.federalmogulmp.com/en-US/Tec ... oblems.pdf http://www.quad4x4.com/qu80019.html

I wonder of you just get new calipers if it would come with the regular key.

Yep it definitely looks like the oversize key! Thanks for that. I'll have to try and find a local source to confirm all the dimensions still but it looks very close!

I bought new calipers and they didn't come with it. So I asked them for the matching plates to go with my calipers and they weren't the right ones.

I looked up the part number that I have on my Quigley build sheet and it also looks different too.

Call Quigley with your VIN and they'll probably have the part for you.

This is the part they list for my van. Yes they have my VIN. It is quite obviously wrong.

I have been looking at these oversize plates and I don't think they're quite right. They a lot thicker at the top than my plates are...
