Re: Driveshaft diameters

Thanks, guys. I plan on calling Jess at High Angle tomorrow to discuss why he sized them the way he did. I just wanted some numbers as to what others are running on these vehicles so I can discuss it with him. I find it really weird that the front is smaller than what he built me for a Toyota that's half the weight and torque. I'm not really concerned about power handling but rather I want to make sure that if I slip onto one of them, they'll withstand the hit. Bending strength decreases with diameter if the wall thickness stays constant, so the smaller diameter shaft is not good in my eyes. Maybe he'll convince me otherwise, though. I'm trying to keep an open mind!

Re: Driveshaft diameters

I spoke with Jess at HAD. He seemed to be confident about the sizing, so I guess I'll just run with them and see what happens.
