It's a good deal. An 08 could go for as much as 30k. 97000 miles is not a lot. Even less since the 4x4 was installed later.

I am still thinking...
but it has the 5.4L EFI V8... and I want a diesel...

You can always swap in a Cummins with a TorqueShift later.

If you're not planning to tow a lot, the V8 gasser is a good engine. There's lots of aftermarket engine goodies to make it go faster. You'll appreciate the cost of ownership and mileage vs. the Diesel or V10 in the long run.

I think as a compromise for that price take the V8.
