Econoline rear shock help

I ordered Bilstein 33-176857 E450 shocks for the rear of my van after seeing a reference sheet for Quigley econolines. After mounting them today I find I only have about 2” down travel left. Not going to cut it. I removed the existing Rancho shocks but none of the numbers on the body reference anything that would tell me dimensions. I need a very stiff valves shock with 26” extended and 16” collapsed. Any recommendations?

What are the numbers on the ranchos?

Wire brush the body to get a good reading if you need to.....

Is your van a 2WD?

I run KYB MonoMax. Compression damping isn't much stiffer than stock, but rebound damping is fantastic. Even with 14,000 pounds on my rear axle, I don't get excessive bounce, although the Sumo springs help as well.

There’s RS9909 and C198V2. I can read them fairly easily but google doesn’t come back with anything

Quigley 4x4 conversion. Sitting about 5” higher than stock in the rear

To make sure you order the correct length shocks you should cycle your suspension and measure the required shock length at full droop, ride height and full compression. Measuring the fully compressed length is hard though, but you can kinda of guess at it by measuring the remaining travel to the bump stop at ride height. Then you can go to the manufactures tables to determing which model will be the best fit. Fox's 2.0 table is here: https://www.ridefox.com/subhome.php?...+Top+-+Eyelet+
or here: https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?...rsal&position=

Much appreciated JetnJim...that Bilstein data can be hard to find, and the tech support folks aren't very forthcoming either, especially when you are trying to custom fit something.
