Econoline reservoir shock location

Picked up a Bilstein 5165 front shock w/remote reservoir to test the fit on my 97 Quigley Econoline. Looks like the size is just right, only problem is making room for the reservoir. I originally thought about mounting it to the frame rail but decided against it as it’s too close the the exhaust manifold. It doesn’t rub anything when it’s piggybacked on the main shock, but it’s .25” either direction from rubbing on something, one something being the moving coil. Any suggestions on where to mount the reservoir?

Mine is mounted almost horizontally (parrallel with the frame) immediately aft of the shock. My 315's have rubbed a shiney spot on the reservoirs at full stuff, full steering lock. Acceptable for me. Looks like this: https://camburg.com/shop/suspension/...rformance-kit/

Another option is to mount it horizontally on top of the coil bucket. Sorta like this: Custom Front King 2.5 Remote Reservoir Shocks-SHK-K

Either can be easily accomplished using these: https://www.polyperformance.com/syne...voir-mount-kit (also sold under many other brand names at almost every offroad shop.)
