THANKS! They are HELO 878's…I looked at hundreds of styles on (felt like) hundreds of sites…I told Jon at Quadvan what I wanted and he made it happen (size, load, lug/offset etc)Jhere's the back shot with the hub cover.

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac ?

You did say more aggressive. Have you considered the S/T Maxx? As far as the Cooper's go, they're more aggressive than the AT3. Mine have less then 10K on them, but so far I like them.

Edit: Just looked on Treaddepot.com
BFG AT/K02 285/75/16 $231
GY Wrangler Duratrac 285/75/16 $228
Cooper Discoverer AT/3 (the only one warrantied at 55k) $171

I've run BFG AT's for many years I've never gotten great ware out of them but have like them. I went with Cooper AT3's a few years ago for the van because of the savings. They where the biggest POS tires I've ever owned!!! got like 17K out of them, with rotating.
Cooper Discoverer AT/3's SUCK!!!!! DONT DO IT!!!
I went with Duratracs this time around on my f350. Here's my review. I have loved the Duratracs as far as traction, thy are way better in ice and snow, and run fine on the road. They look sweet! The down side for me when compared to the BFG's is thy are a little softer and the side walls flex more. I noticed a little more swaying when I was towing 14K dump trailer etc. They seam to ware a bit faster then the BFG's but not that much. I also got to say that I jumped up a size from a 295x75x16 BFG to a 305x75x16 Duratrac so that might have added to the sidewall sway a bit? Overall, For traction I'd go Duratrac. for towing I might go back to BFG's for millage.. go get a street tire it's almost a wash on a 7000 lb truck with these type of tires.

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac ?

I had a blowout with my AT/3s coming home from camping a couple weekends ago. Needless to say I'm not thrilled with them right now either. I have no idea why on the blowout. It was front right and pressure had been checked before I left. I feel a little bad about telling so many people how great they are. They are wearing well though and up to then I had no problems. I did have a defective tire right at the start though. It was separating lengthwise right at the bead at just a few hundred miles, but in the last 20k no problems. It was replaced under warranty of course. The tire shop said they'd never seen that on these tires.

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac ?

I have about 43k miles on my 33" E rated Duratracs now. I run them on my f150 4x4. I will need to replace them before the snow flies but they have been great. I've driven them in pretty much every imaginable condition. Great traction and ok noise level. I also seem to curb them every other day or so and the sidewalls have held up. I had a horrible experience with Goodyear in the past with my Audi so I was sceptical, but I've been pleasantly surprised.

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac ?

I recently bought an 05 Expedition and found a set of King Ranch F150 wheels with 275/65/20 Duratracs cheap on CL. No idea of the exact mileage but they are 2 years old and in great shape. So far I love them. They are loud on such a formerly quiet truck but not annoyingly so.
