I am not sure if you are asking diameter, or also width.....
...but I am hearing that 35in diameter is the largest without modification, and that there is a little rubbing with 35s.

I had 315's installed on my SMB by the guys in SMBW. They had to trim some sheet metal off the corners of the front fenders and reinstall the Bushwackers. At the same time they installed running boards which turned out to be too long and the new 35" tires hit these in good twists. I trimmed about 1/2" off the back of both boards. There was no lifting done although I did add some leaves later that gave me lots of clearance. Erik and Amy Badger are running 37" on the Badgermobile. I expect they will have full details on the switch on their website at badgertrek.com.
Remember going from 33" to 37" is a big jump and will effect horsepower significantly. Ford chose 4.10 gears to go with stock tires at about 30", so going all the way to 37" might require a change in gearing.
We are now hearing that 35 inch is the largest tires SMB will install, BUT that 35 inch does require some "rocker panel modification".... but it must be minor since they will not install 37in tires due to the required modifications.

I was going to go with 34s but the only Nitto Terra Grappler that comes near 34" is like 12" wide or something. I won't do anything til I see how the SMB fits in the garage at the rental house- bigger tires might be moot if it's as close as I think.
