I guess 17x9 -14mm is 4.45” backspacing so they should work fine since 4.5”-5.5” backspacing is recommended. Thanks for your help I just didn’t want to order wheels that wouldn’t work.

@MG Metal works:

First of all i have to say that the work and all the information MG Metal works gives here is amazing!

I realy appreciate this and i love how extremly professional the work is done!

I am wondering if and how the crossmember is reinforced after cutting. I never saw a picture of this from you. I would like to see this

Thanks

This is how it was done with my van. A little cut here, weld there.

Oh gotcha. It's not that difficult really, I just kind of followed the brake line but I know MG has some sort of template. Just make sure all your corners are rounded when you cut so they arent weak spots later on.

Thanks for the kind words schluchtenflitzer!

We do have a trim template that we send out. It's a PDF file that you can print and cut out.

Crossmember cut went much easier than I expected. Initial cut using 4.5" 60 grit cut-off wheel (Harbor Freight), followed by grinding wheel to knock off and shape a little, finished with sanding wheel. Light sand and paint.
I had limited access for the initial cut from the front, so transferred line to rear of plate being cut and cut from rear. Disadvantage of this was a face fill of sparks.

Sway-bar instal.

Sway-bar final assembly. Moved the OEM E350 sway bar chassis attachment point 2" forward for sway-bar ends to clear coil springs and allow for full travel movement around installed track bar mount.
Extended OEM F350 sway-bar linkages (Ford part # PSA55939) from 4.25" to 7.5" to raise linkage / sway-bar attachment point allowing for an optimal vertical linkage and horizontal sway-bar configeration.
Van drove ok without the sway-bar, but the installation is very noticeable with significantly less to no body roll while cornering. In general van now drives better than pre-lift.
