The larger brakes on the 2013+ axles will fit in 17's. There are stock wheels that are 17's and I've physically put 17's on multiple rigs. I have a van here right now with aftermarket 17s (I think American Racing or Ultra...not sure which brand).... But not all 17's are the same, it's just something I've told people to watch out for. And when I've had "clearance issues" it's not a lot. I've only had to clearance the caliper on one rig and it amounted to probably 0.060-0.080" of removal of a casting (parting line) ridge on the caliper.

So I’m dealing with this right now, the spring keeper on the driver side went in after a bit of playing around and moving stuff, but the passenger side is not going in. We’ve tried jacking up the axle but the spring only compresses so much and then lifts the van…

Any clues on how to get this in?

Yep! Had the same on one side. Easy going: grab a hammer and slightly change the radius ;-)

Was fiddling around for at least an hour before I got that idea [emoji23][emoji23]

You mean the radius of the keeper? 😬

You can also attach the spring using the keeper before attaching the lower perch.

How would you tighten the spring keeper bolt then? I can't get a ratchet, let a lone a socket in there.

I still can't get the spring retainer on the passenger side to hold the spring at the top, even after reshaping it quite a bit. I'm off by like 1/4 inch. @mgmetalworks any tips?

Another question - what measurement have you used on the Carli trackbar, eye-to-eye? Should I use the recommended 38" for 4.5" lift?
