Attachment 44801

It's pretty easy to depin that Molex connector on your pigtail -- I'd just swap the wires across at that your pigtail and see if it works!
That solved it. Easy enough to reverse the wiring in the pigtails by de-pinning them. Thanks!!

Last two things I’ve got left:

1. Recommendation on which driveshaft shop to use? I need new front and rear shafts

2. Any ideas on transmission crossmember for the 5.4 V8? I’ve seen a couple, wondering if there are any others!

Is anyone else getting contact from the track bar backing bracket with the differential housing?

Can I trim this bracket so there’s no contact?

you can trim that corner off if needed. It looks like it's lower on the cross member than it should be though.

Yeah I was wondering the same when installing it, but it’s all the way to the top against the inside of the crossmember.

RE: driveshafts — Tom Woods. Full stop. They are priced competitively and had them to me in 3 days.

RE: that bracket — mine is tucked up very nicely inside the trimmed crossmember. Very strange indeed on yours.

Ordered from Tom Woods last week, they're super profesional and fast, hopefully they'll have them shipped to me today.

As for the bracket, after a few exchanges with MG, I believe I was confused when installing it, as there's 4 holes in the frame, and I located it on the lower 3 holes instead of the upper 3 holes. I'm going to try to get this fixed without too much havoc (removing trackbar and drag link or even more &#128531.

I definitely made a mistake when I installed the backing plate. This has been fixed, took a bit of effort because there’s so much hardware in the way, but I can confirm it can be done with axle and track bar in place.

Can someone confirm the angle of the steering stabilizer is ok? I feel it’s working at an odd angle, given the frame mount only let’s it go up and down…

I can’t confirm the angle of the stabilizer but it appears the castle nut is contacting your lower radiator hose. It could be the angle of the pic though.

Is anyone in the process of removing/converting their 4R75 trans (still in 2wd configuration) that could take a measurement for me?
