Any offroad shop that's built custom rigs would probably have the tools and experience. The reamer tool is under $100, commonly available. If you're not doing it with a really sturdy drill press or milling machine, you'll wipe out a reamer in no time. In other words...this isn't something that's done on the vehicle with a hand drill.
Is that a stock van pitman arm that is machined to accept the bigger superduty ball joint or is the arm from something else? The 99 truck arm is longer than the van and makes it hard to turn at a dead stop.
what rotors/calipers/pads are you using with your axle swaps? using the ones that came on salvaged axle? anyone replace with aftermarket, preference on manufacturer?
Thought I would post a couple pics of my progress, dropped the transmission and transfer case in last night. Now I can go onto fuel tank, drive shafts, axles ect.
