My Timberline 4WD Conversion
I dropped the van off on last Thursday afternoon and they had it on the rack Friday morning. Tim sent me picks of the progress Monday afternoon. I'm very pleased with progress.
For a 1998 E250 with 157,000 miles, that undercarriage is in great shape.

Sweet, im currently installing this kit myself at home. Did you opt for the adjustable 4 link arms or the fixed arms? I got the adjustable arms so i can use them to adjust caster versus having to use an ecentric bushing.

Honestly, I don’t know what they’re using. I checked my build sheet and don’t see either one.

Fixed length look like the top image, adjustables look like the bottom. The only real advantage is the adjustables allow you to adjust caster seperate and apart from the alignment bushing. That way the bushing can be used solely for adjusting camber.
Just pick up the phone, call Tim and say hey man, could you stick the adjustable lower arms on my rig. Unless you prefer the fixed length. Im not finished with mine yet even though all the parts are here, so i cant give any testimony about them one way or another. I think there was a $150 difference between the two.
If you get the adjustables you can pickup bushings at the following link if they ever fail or you wanna run a sperical type end. https://www.ballisticfabrication.com...istic-bushings

Terry, you’re an inspiration to me, I have a 2001 E250 EB with appx 146k mi on it and a 5.4. I toy all the time with the thought of doing the 4x4 conversion on my well-preserved van…but my sensible analytic side always wins out. I’m going to pay close attention to your build and subsequent adventures! Are you 7.3, V10 or V8 gas?

It's a 5.4L. I'll continue to post pictures as they come to me. Tim at Timberline said he would keep me updated, but I didn't realize I'd be getting pictures so soon.
I do have an analytic side, but, luckily, it's not very sensible.
