These 2-day training events are geared toward beginner to moderate skill
levels, but experienced skill levels will also learn more than they thought
possible as well as increase awareness. Emphasis is on safety. Courses
include vehicle preparation, negotiating the terrain, picking a proper line,
map and compass, recovery techniques using Hi-Lift jack, winch, and other
tools, and back country awareness. Included is both theory and hands-on
driving techniques. Many handouts are included.

Training session will take place in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park. For
full size vehicles only -- 4x4 Van conversion, truck camper, Quigley,
Sportsmobile, Earth Roamer, Fuso, and other full size expedition vehicles.

per day if you can't make all five! Our 13th year doing this fun adventure!
Each day we meet at a designated location and take off on a different Moab
trail. Snow will make the trails much more interesting, so if you have your
RUD chains, bring them along. New Years' Eve will find us out on the trail

Those Anza Borrego classes in the fall are assuming that the Governator hasn't closed that California state park and sold it off to balance the state budget!
