Noobie Recovery Gear for Sprinter 4x4

I've been studying and shopping to get our 2015 Sprinter 4x4 ready for a month of mild 4-wheeling in southern Utah. This is my first time setting up a 4x4 for use as a solo vehicle out in the weeds. Does this look like a reasonable collection of gear to get me started? Anything missing?

The front recovery point relies on a wimpy towing eye that comes with the Sprinter. No other points are available on the front. This is the weakest part of my setup, and will be used very conservatively.

Missing a jack. I like Hi-lift with wheel attachment but not sure how that will work with those wheels.

I'd want a Come Along, or perhaps a small portable winch.

Some beers in the fridge? I also carry a couple of snatch blocks & a high lift jack with a base. I also carry the Lift Mate so I can lift from the tire but you may not be able to use that with those wheels. Your choices look very similar to what I ended up with. Mine still look like that too since I haven't needed them yet.

Yes, I have the Safety Seal Tire repair kit, but forgot to include in picture. Thanks for pointing that out.

The only jack I have is the standard Sprinter bottle jack. I thought about a Hi-lift, but decided against it because A) the Sprinter has no reasonable place on either bumper to lift from, B) I don't think it will work with my wheels, and C) I'm kinda scared to use one without perfectly matching equipment.

I did a small amount of research on Come Alongs, and it seemed like they are intended for vehicles weighing 5000 lbs or less. My Sprinter with the RB150 conversion is just shy of 8000 lbs. As for the portable winch, I could probably mount it on the rear trailer hitch receiver, but there is no place on the front. Even so, this might be worth looking into after I upgrade my tires to BFG KO2s.

Credit card: will be available if close enough to civilization to use it!

Beer in fridge: check!

Thanks for the helpful replies everyone.

The Come Along or portable winch will offer 2,000 to 4,000 on up pounds of pulling force to a vehicle of any weight - really does not matter what your van weighs as you are not going to be lifting it up.

Come Along and chain are at the top of the list...

Thanks BajaSportsmobile, what you're saying makes sense. I'll do some more research on Come Alongs and portable winches.

1. Common Sense & Patience. Make good decisions and don't get yourself into issues before they get out of hand. It's pretty hard (believe me I try all the time) to get away from people (i.e. help) in southern Utah.
2. Bike - you can get just out of just about anywhere on a mtb in a few hours...
