How did you guys do the fuel tank in one day? Just curious how you dried it out, cut and welded in one day without fumes or residue, or did you just swap for another OEM tank that had been dry awhile?

3:30 P.M. eastern, rolled out the door and looks done. Probably on the way to the alignment shop, but the stream ended.

That was cool. Dropped in here and there. Must be warm in the shop. One of the guys was wearing shorts.

Yeah, it's funny. The wicked winter storm most of you are getting ends just west of me and U-joint is 2 hours east. It was 70 here yesterday . 50s here today so I bet it's still nice over where he is.

I'm guessing Chris used one of his custom fuel tanks.

We do the whole tank in a few hours. We run a hose from the exhaust of a vehicle into the empty tank (drill a 1/4" hole in it to drain) for about 20 minutes - heat dries it out and it is full of exhaust fumes which don't burn. Been doing it that way for 30+ years.

No death metal since the iPod was being used as the live camera!
They were probably texting off camera...... no proof!
