Partial 4x4 Conversion Questions..
I own a 2007 Ford E350 and have the goal down the road of doing a 4x4 conversion "still don't know what company I want to go through" butttt for the time being I'd really like to get a lift and some wheels/tires up under the rig.
I don't have the funds to do the full swap at the moment but I saw a post somewhere on this forum about just doing a partial conversion to begin with instead of buying a lift for just the 2WD configuration and then selling it for much less whenever I decide to do the full swap.
What all would I need to start the 4x4 conversion? I know the Dana 60 front axel is a must but what else would I need to get started?

MG bolt-on 4x4 bracket kit $2000, 2005 or newer dana front axle $1,000 to $1,500, 4 shocks $300 TO $900. rear lift blocks & ubolts $200, rear wheel adapters so the bolt patterns match $150, 4 wheels & tires $800 to $ 2,000.
This will get you lifted and on the way to 4x4 that you can drive until your ready for the next step.

I too am going this route and just received my kit from MG. He might have more available from this production run.

One thing to note, is it's recommended to use steel wheel adapters. https://www.wheeladapter.com/product.php?id=31 The reasoning the aluminum ones have issues loosening up over time.

Another option is ujoint, I believe he will split his conversion up in to two parts.

Partial 4x4 Conversion Questions..
I’ve been running a set of aluminum spacers in the rear made by Wheel Adapter without issue for years, recommended by Fred himself. Just put on a little red lock tight

Also budget an additional $500 for misc. crap, tool usage, brake line fittings, anti lock work etc.

2006 F-350 front and rear axles. that way you dont need a spacer for the rear. Just have to move the Rear spring perches over roughly 2" also the stock control arms work on the front with a drop bracket. the 10k kits can be avoided.
