Pic thread: Your van stuck
I’m new to off-roading vans so I’m probably too cautious when it comes to attempting shaded forest roads with spring snow, or steep rocky climbs, or sand dunes, or any number of things. I want to learn just how far these vans can go in 4x4 so I thought it would be fun to have a thread of pics of stuck vans or terrain that got it stuck. Include a little info about your tires, the conditions, and how you got un-stuck. This could be a good resource for van folks so they don’t get stuck too (much). Come on...you know you’re proud of burying a 10,000 lb van to the frame in mud...post your pics for the world!

Sweet! How deep was the snow? Did you just reverse out?

Was about 2' went the last 2 miles bashing forward a car length backing up and bashing again had 2nd vehicle pull me back when needed. Gave up a little past pic when a 100 yards of 6' drift made it impossible

Here is my old van in snow. I did not get stuck but you can see how they handle a bit.

Guatemalan jungle. A perfectly placed tree to anchor to for winching!
My travel weight was 11,700 lbs (as weighed for ferry crossing). Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Was heading to ruins of Nakum. Not another sole around except monkeys. About 95 deg and 95% humidity!

2003 E250, bone stock 2wd with open rear diff. ~8,000lbs loaded. 265/75/r16 general grabber AT2s.
I have had my mind blown as to how many places I've been able to get without getting stuck without even so much as a LSD in the rear. Snow seems to be the most consistent limitation, however. This was ~ 3 miles up a forest service road outside of Moab, this past December. The entire road had ~8" of fresh snow from the night before, hadn't been plowed yet. It was steeper and the snow was deeper than the photo makes it look. Knew I was pushing my luck and finally slid off of the road and in to a gulley on the side. Best/worst part was trying to dig ourselves out against the snow bank. Ended up getting pulled backwards enough by a Nissan Titan 4x4. While we were shoveling, a subaru and a toyota tacoma 4x4 got stuck going around the same corner.

Between COVID-19, our current heat wave, school not being back in session yet & my current lack of funds due to several large purchases for the van, it's STUCK!!! Wedged tightly, right between my truck and the front porch of our house.

Lack of situational awareness probably put me here.
