Re: Quigley - it is very bad

Dear friend, if we deprive of emotions our relation to ours vans, what for to us to have vans?..

In this theme everything is already written that it is necessary for me.

I study now question to make arms on replacement in Russia. Here there is nothing difficult, it is very simple detail. The problem - to pick up bushing towards the size...

Quigley it that - five rednecks from ranch in Arizona with hammer and bottle of whisky? They illiterate, have no Internet, are only able to call and knock this hammer? No, it no very small factory... For the order of usual parts I don't need to call to America. It is enough to me to name numbers of parts to my partner in NY. I don't understand, why Quigley arrives differently, than Ford...

Some years ago I had difficult repair old Ford Bronco, we had problem with selection rear shaft, usual catalogues and programs didn't give the exact answer. I have written on Ford and have asked question. I didn't expect that to me will answer, it is huge corporation, and I asked about very old truck. However I have received exact and prompt reply from technical experts.

Therefore I don't think that all American companies it is bad. But I see that Quigley doesn't respect the buyers and wished to spit on their problems.

I wonder what that means for my engineering degree from the University of Arizona? Well I did take those elective classes in Rattlesnake Wrangling and Advanced Gunslinging....

Guys, at me it is bad with English, but at you it is bad with sense of humour.

Sorry, if I have offended someone, it not purposely.

Thanks all for the HUGE invaluable help to the colleague from Russia.
I am more than anything I will not write at this forum not to offend casually University of Arizona or even government US.

I know, right? Maybe a salutation, some punctuation and a complete sentence now and again. It's just hard to wade through broken English when someone doesn't take the time to... wait, what?

Re: Quigley - it is very bad

As a forum admin and owner of several much larger communities we have opted to completely ban all mail.ru accounts and most IP ranges within the Federation of Russia. The reason is not that we do not want Russian friends or Russians posting, the reason is that the Russian Government refuses to assist in closing down electronic attacks from within their country. China operates in a very similar fashion. It is unfortunate because I have family in Russia that I had to choose to ban also since they were in the same subnet with dynamic IPs.

Just take a quick look at StopForumSpam.com perhaps you might see a trend with certain countries?

As far as Quigley goes here are a few thoughts.
1. You will attract more flys with honey than vinegar. (Try being really nice)

2. Remember that your country never made large import orders of US cars so why would ford or a ford based business run out of their way to support a used vehicle purchase in a non supportive country from an upset mechanic? (I'm blown away that Larry even responded here)

3. Try to remember that regardless of number 2, Quigley is not focused in the business of retail part sales even in our own country. They convert vans and only until recently did they even offer to help with used vehicles. So try using more of the approach from #1

If I understand it correctly, you can buy a new Quigley 4x4 van but if you break it, you will not receive any parts to repair!!! only choice buy a new one to replace the broken one...

IMO if a company want's to keep it custumers (new or used) they must have a very good spare part service...
