Quigley Van New to Me

Hi all!

I just got a 2004 4x4 Quigley E250 which first took me to the Ford Truck Forum. This forum was recommended there as well. I'll have a ton of questions, but i just wanted to introduce myself.

I will make minor mods to this van for vacation travel (but not live-in RV ) because I have a whole host of wife's art equipment and a finicky cat to load up whenever we go anywhere. I searched for a 4wd because I am sure most of you know that a near empty 2wd van is no fun in inclement weather unless its sitting still.

First step is a roof vent, carpeting, and dual batteries. Then maybe replacement seats. I'd like an OEM six way power if that was an option on this model maybe a junk yard would be the place. I'll ask separately if no one notices me here, but again, I just wanted to say hello.

W

Nice rig. Craig's List usually a trove of used seats, etc

Thanks! I have to figure out how to insure that I don't get gamey smelling seats from a junk yard or craigslist. Other things to do first. So, I'll be around again soon.

Re: Quigley Van New to Me

Looks to be a nice place to start in the 4x4 van world.

As for the OEM/Factory power drivers seat, they are a bit hard to find. A guy on here had a set of 4 captains seats with a power drivers seat that he sold that was a very good deal but they were in Texas I think. I have been looking for one for over a year now. The seats change quite a bit every few years, they come in quite a few different colors and patterns and the floors changed a few times as well. There are some 2009 up seats available on ebay but even then Power ones are rare. You have to get the whole seat and base, as both the base and the power seat frame are different from the manual seat frames and base. The good news is if it is like my van the connector for the power seat in already installed all I need to do is install the fuse.

You can always try here they even have ones that swivel. http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvvanse ... tbases.htm

Re: Quigley Van New to Me

I have a spare middle bench seat if you are interested. Pretty good shape. Grey cloth from a stock 2006 passenger van.
