Some of us are running a known fox shock number. That kit looks pretty MG, having just done one my self. (More pictures of the radius/trailing arm brackets would pretty much close the case.)
If you are worried about custom valving, and they are fox, you could have them rebuilt. I would be tempted to swap on a new shock, see if its ok, and then if not, disassemble the old and new to compare valves.
As an FYI, I've some spare solutions on my build for suspension. I currently have a pair of some F250 front Bilstein shocks w/ 1500 miles on them that are about the right length that I would sell ya for $100. I got them in a set of 4, and only plan to use the rears.
Expensive custom shocks are currently ~4 months out.
