replacement gas tank

I have an 06 E350 with the sportsmobile 4x4. The van has the gas v10. My fuel tank is starting to rust out and I cannot find a replacement or anyone willing to fix it. Does anyone know of a place I can buy a new tank that will fit the 4x4 conversion? I don't care if it is less capacity. I have tried agile, transfer flow and quigley. The only hope I have is that a quigley tank will fit. Transfer flow says they do not have and will not make a replacement and agile has one only for the diesel. The agile tank is much larger capacity than the Quigley which is appealing but I'd have to find someone to modify it to work with the venting and fuel pump for the gas engine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why not just get yourself one that mounts behind the rear axle and be done with it?

That might be more work because I have the storage box in the floor where the old spare was located. I think removing that and patching it to make a mount would be a big project and I keep a lot in that storage compartment.

Is your tank the shortened version on the driver side?
If so, I believe AeroTanks makes the bigger 40 gallon replacement and Agile also stocks it. See links below.

This is listed as diesel only, but other folks have mentioned they've purchased and then installed on their gas van. Due to the diesel only indication, I think you'd have to purchase (for a diesel van ) and install yourself.

Rock Auto shows several tanks are available from Liland Global and Spectra Premium.

Cut and weld a plate like Quigley does.

Does anyone know if the Aero tank from Agile will work with MG's kit?

Aerotanks can't sell their tank to you in California. They had no problem, a few years ago anyway, selling me one for my 460 gas SMB given that I am in TN. They even put a flange for my fuel sender in it for me (modifying their diesel tank for my gas van). Call Jake!

Any suggestions for rear mount diesel tanks? IE where the spare tire originally went.

Junkyard, get one off a chassis cab. they have two sizes 35 and a 50 gal I think they are.
do you have a RB or EB van? Do a google search and you can prolly find more info. I don't think the 50 will fit in a RB.

Good idea on the chassis cab, I hadn't considered OEM options. I have a RB. I'll search for options on those.
