Salem Kroeger Conversions

I'm about to begin converting a 2007 E350 12 pass. V8. I'm relatively close to Red Bluff and I have gotten good feedback from Craig at SK. I know several forum subscribers have done SK conversions. Has anyone converted a V8? Craig says he has done many. I'd appreciate any comments good or bad.
Ultimately I will end up with something close to the SMB Transformer setup. My usage will be for daily driving, off road camping and towing a 2000lb boat.
Thanks

I can't help you with the V8 question as we have a V10. But if you go to Salem Kroger and see a green 2004 sportsmobile, it's ours. oclv

The only real difference with a 5.4L and a 6.0LPSD is going to be the PSD is much heavier and it has heavier springs. Depending on the year of the van, the 5.4L will have a 4spd automatic instead of a 5 speed.

Otherwise, the 4x4 conversion will use the same parts in the same manner.

I've been told the 5 speed began being used in 2005. At least on the V10s. Thanks for the info.
