Santa Barbara off road mechanic

First, any good recommendations for a 4x mechanic in the SB/Ventura/San Luis region? Talked to Rob in SB but he’s two months out on repairs. The front inner axle seal is leaking diff fluid, quite a bit actually. Of course might as well do all other seals and bearing both sides, plus the air locker o-rings. Any other suggestions while it’s opened up?

Next, and this may just be some venting, but it sure seems that I’ve been plagued with repairs lately. In 7000 miles I’ve replaced a high pressure oil hose, dropped the tank to remove clogged filters, replaced brake booster and master cylinder, vacuum pump, water pump...and now the seals. Rig has 207k miles and maybe this is just normal wear for these parts but I’d sure like to stop repairing and get out in the dirt again.

I've had Rob in Goleta do some driveline work for me, but he is always swamped. My regular shop is Mastercraft Motors at Haley and Olive. Talk to Noah or Bill there. They have replaced xfer case seals for me very well.
