Shock absorber bushings

Just a bit of maintenance ...

I have a 2006 "Classic" RB (Powerstroke, ~ 9300 pounds with a typical load)

It is outfitted with Old Man EMU Nitro Charger shocks. Exact SKU I cannot discern (or find yet ...) The shocks still have life, but the bushings are worn out. I suspect I am not the first to post on this topic. Has anyone replaced the bushings on their "stock" shock absorbers of this vintage, and if so, are there any recommendations on the type / size of bushing to use.

It's easier to ask before I remove the shocks methinks ... :-)

Napa has replacement OE equivalent Ford shocks bushings, usually on the spinny rack near the counter. I've always needed now shocks on the van before bushings, but the same ones work on my trailer.

Assuming you're just talking about the upper stem bushings, I replaced mine with the kit CarringB speaks of, but they only seem to last me 6 months before I kill them. I ended up using larger diameter rubber bushings from Fox https://www.polyperformance.com/fox-...SABEgIPPfD_BwE and I put a sleeve inside to make up the difference in size (bushing was meant for a 1/2" stud, my shock have 3/8") and they've been in there 2 years and 1 shock rebuild already. Energy Suspension makes several sizes of polyurethane stem bushings too.
