Speed Sensor from Transfer Case

I’ve been very intrigued in figuring out if I can use the speed sensor on the back of the BW1356 to capture real output speed, instead of the current speed the transmission outputs.

I’m seeing weird speedo behavior when switching the T-Case into neutral or 4Lo, like speedo going up without acceleration (assuming this comes from the torque converter spinning without any resistance when the T-case is in neutral).

This is the speed sensor I’m thinking of using
