There are "in-line" speedometer correction modules for the Fseries. One made by Hypertech. They plug in to the instrument panel to "adjust" the input to the IPC without affecting any of the PCM or ABS stuff. It might be worth a call to Hypertech to see if they have something that could work for the Eseries.

@mgmetalworks yes Hypertech is usually the way to go.
But they do not offer speedo adjuster for E-Series of 2012 and up.
Also I did send them a request long time ago but never got an answer.

@Markmat as I already wrote. Things like this will not work with newer model E-Series Vans.

@parisdakarbut that doensn't help.


@boywonder mounting OEM tires is no option since the new bigger tires have to be in the German/EU documents.

martin: It has been a while since I have dealt with TUV issues.



Isn't it possible to get special waiver/documents from a TUV inspection station for limited production specialty builds/custom designs, or special parts required on non-homologen vehicles (for example, a specialized delivery truck configuration or a custom refrigeration van or such)?
