Sportsmobile West (now Field Vans) suspension

This may or may not have been discussed previously and is basically an FYI; I have a 2014 Sportsmobile RB50 built by sportsmobile west. I was trying to figure out information to upgrade shocks and add a steering stabilizer to the rig. After some research and conversations with Sportsmobile they informed me that the conversion done by Sportsmobile West was a bit different than all the others and Field Vans would be able to assist. I had previously reached out to Agile and other companies with little to no luck. I was able to order the parts I needed and hopefully I’ll be installing sometime next week. I may do a write-up with pictures if I have the time.

*Update*
In order to install the steering stabilizer I needed longer U-bolts; I contacted Field Vans and the U-bolts they had were all around 8” however I have 6 leaf springs and all the pictures used for reference had 5 leaf’s. I ordered a custom U-bolt at 9 3/4” which I had to trim down a bit. I’m fine tuning the stabilizer to make sure it’s positioned properly; but in my short test drive I can tell a big difference.

Excellent, glad it is working out.

If you don't mind, where did you source u-bolts?

I've had Deaver custom make u-bolts for me. Super easy for them, and I'm assuming it would be the same for any other spring manufacturer (manufacturer, not just an installer).

Here are a couple of pictures.

The Ubolt torque specs are 140 ft lbs.
The nut & bolt that attaches to the bracket is 65 ft lbs.
The bolt on the CNC bracket is 50 ft lbs.
Lastly the CNC brackets Allen head bolts are torqued to 12 ft lbs

Thanks for the info on the U-bolts. Maybe a better view for forum members if you could possibly throw some light under there -
