Any chance identifying which drop arm you used?

Also not wanting to derail this thread but on the issue of a steering damper---on a totally stock E350 2WD van would that work to minimize steering box potential damage to the steering box when the front suspension encounters sometimes severe pot holes? (For some reason I seem to find those, a few so bad I've had the left front upper shock mount break away from the spring perch. Generally here in Ohio the highways need repair, damn near have to memorize every mile of road to avoid those *#&@)# menaces.)

It wasnt just a drop arm, it is longer as well. No, in fact i would think it would accelerate steering box damage because it gives any impact from potholes more leverage on the steering box. Its laying out in the garage someplace but i dont see any point digging it up because they dont work. I think youre misunderstanding what i mean by longer, when i say longer i mean more distance between the center of the steering shaft to the center of the draglink hole. Its been long enough i dont recall the exact specs, i think it is like 4 inch drop and maybe an inch longer than the E-350 arm. I can look for it if you think you want one but im telling you it will make your steering miserable and dangerous.

JWA, sorry i didnt read your last post correctly. I mistakenly thought you were asking if the drop arm would help but you were refering to a steering damper.
