Super duty shocks on my Quigley

Good evening fellow mutants.

I drive a 2000 e250 quigley.( e350 axle and regeared)

I replaced my shocks with Napa fleet gas grande shocks from an 06 super duty. The fronts I had to ream the front out too 9/16. And make room for the bushings.

The rears I adapted the top mount to a traditional pinch set up and lowered the mounts in the axle.

These are substantially heavier damped and longer travel. The ride is incredible. Our county roads are awful. The ride quality of straight axle ford’s isn’t great anyway. And the quigley iteration is badder.

I’ve tried so many variations. Bilsteins, Rancho. Monroe’s but all set up for a van. Quigley used e150 rears on the front and moved the rear mount
Up and retained the stock shocks.

I’m on stiffer springs on the front. Custom springs in the back.

These ride so dang well. I’ve run these on my f350 and I was really impressed. Firm but controlled. It took.4 hours and some sweat to change them out.
