Plastic radiators don't make much sense to me but wow the aluminum Performance option has doubled in price since I bought mine.

Hood louvers don't really do much when running but I do think they are of benefit when stopped, allowing the heat to escape the cramped engine bay and hopefully lessening the time the wiring harness and plastic connectors are getting cooked. Who knows but they look cool! E350 Sportsmobile - Hood Louvers | RunCool | Hood Vents For Your Vehicle -

Sorry for any thread drift but green for the win!

Agreed! I have the medium size ones on my 2002 E350. Not much difference driving, but I do notice a difference in stop and go in the summer heat.

Color wise, I'm in the same confused state of green vs sand/tan. I'll probably go with sand/tan on the off chance it'll make the van cooler.

Oh hey... if you camp a lot in the desert, you need tan. If you camp a lot in the forest, you need green. Simple huh.

I like that approach. Problem for me is when you do both depending on the season.

Winter desert and snow
Spring desert and forest
Summer forest
Fall forest and desert

Since I camp in the snow the most I have a white van. Now it makes sense!

That's perfect! Honestly seeing that makes me lean towards a light tan, might look good in the snow as well.

And in the fall and snowless winter days, in a deciduous forest, tan blends with the fallen leaves.

Does anyone know the name or color code for this green color? I'm trying to get mine painted but they want to know a name or code.

Believe that was one of the first production models from SMW showcasing their new "E" series build...the SMB "Classic".
