tipping; not the rollover kind but for the mechanics

Thinking just a bit out of the box, I'd venture that just because the shop bills at $90/hr, doesn't mean the non-owner mechanic that did all the good work on your van made more than $35/hr. My guess is that many of the great non-owner mechanics may not be earning a lot of money. Thus, the consideration of a tip perhaps.
