Tire and Wheel Gallery - Post Yours Here!

I have been searching high and low. I have had moderate success with lots of threads on wheel and tire choices. How about a thread that would be easy to find that had a picture of your tire and wheel combination and the name of the tire and the name of the wheel. Not the whole van, just a close up of the tire and the wheel and ID info so folks could compare them with ought having to wonder what a set of "Mehods and BFG A/T's" looks like.
I would add my own here but of course I am the one trying to make up his mind. So, please let's start a "Tire and Wheel Gallery" by replying below!!

You do us a great service!

Re: Tire and Wheel Gallery

Great idea! I'm happy to share a few 'candid' shots of mine. American Eagle 100 series with Cooper Discoverer 285/75/16. Not sure of the wheel offset but I can find out if anyone needs it. No spacers, Quigley 4" lift in the first pic which has since been upgraded with the Agile R.I.P. kit to around 6". Minor rubbing on the backs of my fender flares at full lock, just too lazy to trim them so far.

Re: Tire and Wheel Gallery

This is a good idea, and may hold off some of the repetitive 'show me your tires and wheels' threads. If this thread works, I can make it a sticky.

I would also recommend that people include pertinent info about their lift, whether 2wd, 4wd, Quigley, SMB,.... since tire and wheel choices are influenced by how much room is available.

Should we request that people just post pics and info for reference, or do you want discussion about choices included?

Re: Tire and Wheel Gallery

Any info about whether you get any rubbing and mods to remedy would be helpful as well.

Re: Tire and Wheel Gallery

I'm a visual learner…and maybe slow at that?! Anyway, after endless hours of 'looking' online at all the manufacturers, styles materials, and colors…I punted at the end…I HOPED mu choice would compliment Sportsmobeebs/Sporty…and finally, with Jon from Quad, we went with Helo and Goodyear. I have since seen others posting about mud BEHIND/caught in the back of non-solid spokes…I DO have to get an extra good shot of H2O into them…but (for me) WELL WORTH THE EFFORTS….again I THINK they make Sporty look bad a@#!! Good luck on your choice! Can't wait to see what you chose!

I personally am okay with anything as long as there is a good shot of the wheel and tire with the identifying info. If there is more than that in the post, even better. I just love specifics and don't like to speak in generalities with as many choices as we have. I don't want it to be taken over by discussion, however. This will keep it as a reference for the endless owners to come.
Thanks!

Re: Tire and Wheel Gallery

2006 E350 4x4 SMB Conversion with 16" Eagle Alloy wheels by original owner

Replaced the original BFG's with 315/75R16 Goodyear Duratrac tires. No mods necessary. The dimensions of the Duratracs were the same physical size as the BFG's except the diameter was 1/10" different.
