Agreed, Method Hole's are super good looking

My favorite three are the Method Mesh, ATX Cornice, and ATX Ledge.

I'm looking to upgrade my tires and wheels. But unlike most here I am not looking to raise my stock Van or convert to 4x4. I wish to make this build a total comfort cruiser for the coast hwy.

To that end I would like to lower the tire profile for less wheel roll. I was thinking of a plus 2 configuration with 245/55r18 tires.
Unfortunate I haven't been able to find compatible rims that the websites say are compatible. Either the website does not recognize E series or econoline as valid models or doesn't list anything beyond the standard 16" rim.
By the way I'm looking to mount these on a 1998 E250 ext cargo

My searches have come up with these specs. Stock rims are 16x8 with an 8x6.5 bolt
pattern and zero offset.

I like the look of these even though they are stated as off-road. http://www.fueloffroad.com/hostage-d531-w-6063.htm
They show an 18x9 in three offsets a 1 a -12 and a 20

Has anyone used a 18" rim or have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your time.

My take on this is that you will actually make your van less comfortable to cruise in. Road imperfections will be more easily felt and heard with a lower profile tire and a bigger, heavier wheel.

However, the handling may be improved with the shorter sidewall.

I recently upgraded my tires and wheels, but kept the same 16" diameter wheel (8" wide instead of stock 6.5"). The tires were bridgestone transforce 245 75/16s and I changed them out for BFG K02s in 265 75/16. Since that change, my van is much smoother and more comfortable, despite the tires now being A/Ts instead of all-seasons. Road joints/imperfections are much more muted now. Even with the taller sidewall, handling has remained the same (cornering) - if anything it has improved.

Just my 2 cents.

I say, call Jon at Quadvan, Portland, OR and talk with him...he owns a 350Econoline (4x4) and would help you find what you need, and possibly be able to get you a good deal...no sales tax in OR too!! There are too many options not to talk to an expert i the field, or who has decked out thousands of 350's over the years! Good luck!

This necessitated a change to 4.56 (from 4.10's) to pull top gear consistently with my V10.

17" wheels to clear F450 brakes. Air bags out back to adjust ride height and compensate for pulling trailers. I did have to trim my front plastic valance for the 295's.

I will be going to Toyo Open Country R/T 295's next as I am below 50% on these tires.
The Toyo Mt's have been good tires.
My previous Nitto 285 tires would not stay balanced for some reason - I had to have them rebalanced several times...

Cheers

I now know what my van would look like with a slider! Some days I sure wish it had one...

Can anyone ID these wheels? Looks like method holes but without the fake bead lock. ATX Mojave?
