Are you full float dana 60? Any spacers? These wheels are 1/2 off right now! Can you show a side shot like Shenrie?

Stock Dana 60 semi-floater, 2" spacers/adapter (change 8 on 6.5 to 8 on 170). 2" brings the rear into the same track as front, so I assume same / very similar to Shenrie 10.5 sterling without any spacers
Here is an equivelent pic

But if you look at Shenrie wheel spec's vs mine.
17x9 / offset -12 / bs 4.53
17x8.5 / offset 0 / bs 4.75
Shenrie wheel face will stick out 18mm (3/4") further than mine. But once you put the same size tire on both sets of wheels, that will change again.

On my vehicle his wheels would not fit without further trimming. Here is how they look when I first put them on. (Had different wheels then, but same BS / offset). They fit pointing straight and no suspension compression.

Once you turn the wheel, and compress the suspension slightly, they rub. This is why I had to trim.

If I was to run Shenrie wheels, since they stick out slightly more, that would increase how far back the tire would be when the wheel is turned. That's why I say I'd have to trim more with Shenrie wheel size.

Got it. I have SMB 4x4 with leafs and I don't rub. My wheels are the the old teflon ATX series. Tires are 315 60 17 instead of 35x12.5. That is a tight fit up front. I like how ujoint pushes the fronts forward. It makes the setup so much better. My old 7.3 quadvan rubbed like that also. Just might pul the trigger on your wheel choice!

Thanks for your response.

Did you need wheel spacers in the rear?

There’s a lot of variance in the vans over the years. I was able to bolt on 35’s to a stock quigley without any mods needed. The tire would come in contact with the lip on the bumper on a full compression with wheels at the lock, but it was so minor that I never did anything about until I got the rip kit and 9” wide wheels, even then, all I had to trim was a small pie cut on the bumper. Zero trimming to fenders or anything else.

Since I posted, adding current setup.

atx cornice wheels: 17x9/-12et/8x170/4.53 bs/3600 max load
general grabber atx tires: 315/70r17
original agile rip kit (moog c880 springs, sway spacer, v1 valving), currently v4.
Shenrie,

Thank you for your input.

I'm not keen on trimming the front fenders.

I'm leaning toward 33's... either 285/75/16 on stock steel wheels, or going with 17 x 8.5 wheels with 285/70/17's.

I'm a 1998 model year Quigley + 2022 Agile RIP kit. Currently on stock steel wheels with 265/75/16's.

^^^ np at all.

33’s should be ok without trim work, I can’t recall anyone ever needing to that wasn’t 4wd, but be prepared. Another thing to consider is that there is no industry standard to tire sizing (or treadwear for that matter), so one manufacturers 285/75r16 might be an inch wider and have a 1/2” bigger overall diameter then the next manf. Pretty handy huh? When doing your research for exact fit tires, you’ll spend time looking at manufacturers specs for every tire you’re considering. It’s tedious, but those are the games we play modifying vehicles.

Best advice when buying wheels and tires is to make your salesman earn your money. Pick your wheels. Once you mount any tire on them they are yours, but tires are easily taken on and off for test fitting. Before I had access to tire machines I’d talk with the salesman and tell him what I’m trying to do before any money changed hands. They are usually willing to try on a few sizes to make a sale

Not sure I "needed" them, but I have 2" spacers to bring the rear into the same track as front. Well, I did have 2" spacers. Now have 2" adapters since I changed to the F series bolt pattern.
