I've run through three sets of BFG All Terrain KOs and KO2, never had a problem except this last set purchased in 10/17 only made it 26,924 mi. They've done well in sand, scattered rock uphill washes and snow (earlier in lifespan). Not a terribly loud tire but not quiet either. I'm considering the Falkens also, but they seem to be scarce now.

For the sake of completeness:
Company Ineos is currently developing the Grenadiers, just google it. A close friend of mine is involved in the car. They're working with BF to develop a new tire, kind of a successor of the KO2.

And you know what their clear target is?

Make a better tire than Falken AT3W! BF seems to have learned that this tire is beating their KO2 and a lot of people are moving over. They seem to know that the AT3W is the new reference tire to beat after the KO2 had that position for so many years!

What tire size did you get? How is the road noise?

Update for those curious: I bought the Falken's. However, the size I wanted was at least 90 days backordered, so I had to search online. One order was canceled because they ended up not having them--they are hard to find, but I persevered. Can't wait to see how they ride!

Good luck, hope they arrive soon! They seem to be a really light tire compared to some of the others mentioned previously, so it will be interesting to see how they "feel".

Yes I did, just got them installed! My local stores said the size I want (185/75 R18) were backordered at least 90 days, so I did some internet sleuthing and finally found them in Denver. There were 6 left, I got 5! Haven't had the opportunity to really use them, but so far, so good!

I've had BFG's, Duratracs, and now Toyo AT tires on my rig. The Falken AT3W's are getting good reviews but I believe they lack a 3-ply sidewall? Even on the E-rated versions.

Depends on the size you select. Some are 10 ply. See sizes and specifications tab:
