We have 35" Toyo Open Country MT's on our SMB with 18" rims and stock gearing. It rides smooth as silk as far as we're concerned.Accelerating from a stop or low speed feels fine.
I have the same set up on our F-150 that has a 4" rancho lift. I did change the gearing in that to 456 to bring it back to more of the stock feel when under load.
I didnt change the gearing in the van cause we just wanted to keep the Ford warranty intact as much as possible and it doesnt feel any different on the low end than stock anyway.
Hell, it is a psd so there's not much difference between 0 to 60 in 120 seconds and 0 to 60 with 456 in 110 seconds.
