What is the tallest and widest wheel/tire combo for Quigley?

I have a stock 2005 Ford E-350 Quigley 4x4. From everything I've read, it appears that this means it is about a 3 1/2 inch lift. I'm looking to put the tallest and widest wheel/tire combo on it without doing anything more than trimming the front bumper. Has anyone with a stock Quigley gone down this road to know what the tallest and widest wheel/tire combo is? Don't want to have to cut out any fender well and don't want to deal with rubbing. Thanks.

Hey Chop, might try calling Quigley direct. Have your last 8 digits of VIN and they can tell you are sorts of things about the van.

Are you looking to push the envelope or just get the biggest that fits with no issues?

I have 285/75 16 too. This gives a lot of sidewall height. It is pretty commonly used on SMBs.

You can also get 285/70 17, which will give you more clearance to front brake calipers in case rocks get in there, but less sidewall height.

I have Bushwacker fender flares, and these tires come pretty close to the rear edge of the front flares. Without more lift or clearance I could imagine rubbing issues on a Quigley.

Thank y'all. You've certainly given me a good start to my investigation into what to do with this blue booger. I'm going to go as big as possible without major rubbing. If I've got to cut some bumper out, I'm OK with that. But if I'm going to be getting into the undercarriage guts, I might as well lift her a little more. Still undecided.

I am not saying it isn't possible, it just looked to me like lifting the Quigley setup further would be problematic or expensive. I am sure there are people that have done it.

I think the far bigger issue is the limited front suspension travel of the Quigley...

Re: What is the tallest and widest wheel/tire combo for Quig

I have 295/75/16 on my 1995 Quigley. I did have to trim a little off the front (stock) bumper though as I would get rubbing on a left or right compressed turn.
