That is their max cold pressure and load rating at that pressure. That's not a reason to run that pressure. Most wheels don't handle more than 3000 lb load....

What you should be doing is using the pressure that gives you the same load rating as the stock setup. (see other threads)

Re pressure, as I noted in a post somewhere here I inadvertently (thanks smog guy) ran around on 285's on 65 lbs (their max cold pressure) and it was so bad I started shopping for a new suspension until I realized what was wrong. Seriously. Spare yourself.

I’m also a fan of BFG AT K/O Ds. On perhaps my third set, never had any problems sidewall or otherwise on my 8800 lb 2001 van, and it's been down a lot of dirt road. Not to minimize other's problems, but everything's a trade off and this is another data point.

The 315's are almost another inch, and I'd have to do more cutting to fit those in, at least on my van. Might even have to cut some bumper.
