05 Sprinter pulling Sailboat

Oceanside,Ca Harbor [photo][/photo] and [photo][/photo] and[photo][/photo] Nice folks.the gentleman told me he had it custom made in Austin in 2005 since Fresno would not make it the way he wanted and Austin did all he asked. He and his wife love it.The boat only weighs 2600 lbs. They said they get up to 26 mpg if his wife drives it.Not pulling the boat of course.

Re: 05 Sprinter pulling Sailboat

The "secret" to the MacGregor's light weight for towing (for a sailboat) is that they use water for ballast. The tank can be emptied for towing (with most sailboats you have to tow the ballast around too).
