17" wheels

I have seen some mention of changing from 16 to 17" wheels on the 2wd
Sprinter.

1) In this operation is the intent to inrease the circumference, so gas mileage will increase?
2) Decrease the tire profile so sway will decrease?
3) What will be done regarding the in wheel sensors ?

Sorry, you are thinking SMB Sprinter owners are intelligent or something. It is done for one thing - pimping your Sprinter

In the article from Danny Steyn http://www.steynfamily.com/mercedes-...nter-van.htm#6 he has an older Sprinter (not then but when he wrote the story) - maybe an 06. He went to 17" wheels and mentions nothing about wheel sensors.

The 18" wheels shown in the MB accessory book also say nothing about the wheel sensors. It is my hope that the new wheels just bolt on with no other requirements. The speedometer and odometer will be off of course but maybe can be adjusted by computer. I think the low tire sensor's will have to be adjusted but that is no problem.

Before I order one or the other I will have to do some additional research.

Regards,

Keith
