“Built” Thread 2019, 144”, 4x4, All Lithium

Thought I might as well use Covid lockdown time to finally get a semblance of a build thread posted. I waited more than two years for the van and finally got the finished build this past December. Little late on the thread but what the heck. Many people helped along the way, especially Fitz and backcountry guy, so thanks to all. I never did get the 2017, 2018 or 2019 vans I originally ordered but I was able to jump on a cancelled 2019 order about a year ago that was close to what I wanted.

-2019 2500, 144”, 4x4, high roof, blue grey, black leatherette interior
-JB7 parking pkg w/backup camera
-tow pkg
-electric closing assist sliding door
-sunroof option (two fixed glass panels, one toward rear, one toward front; did not want but already ordered; turned out to be okay)
-Basic Comfort Pkg 2
-Driver Convenience Pkg
-Premium Pkg
-Premium Plus Pkg
-Low and High Range 4x4 Pkg
-Chrome Grill Pkg (did not want; already replaced)
-Comfort Plus Pkg
-Swivel Seat Pkg

After market work in addition to SMB interior buildout:

-upgraded front speakers, amp, subwoofer, Compustar/Drone Mobile remote operation and monitoring, keypad access, front camera integrated with 10” factory screen
-AO RIP with Koni front struts
-AO No Rub mini fenders
-Method 701Trail Series 17”matte black wheels, 275/70-17 BFG KO2 tires
-Amp Research Powersteps
-Aluminess roof rack with perforated floor and side ladder
-VC skid plate package
-20 gal. aux fuel tank
-AO hidden winch install
-Baja Designs LP6 Pro front aux lights on VC floating grill mount
-Blacked out grill and star
-low profile LED lights on roof rack, both sides and rear
-Fiamma manual awning
-PIAA Superior Bass Horn
-Custom vinyl vehicle wrap (because I like it and for paint protection for hood, brow and lower third both sides and rear)
Also had to add second alternator bracket and alternator because that option was not part of original order.

Will try to get an album going with some exterior shots. Later I’ll get into the interior buildout.

Okay, okay! It’s called Ománi. That’s the Lakota Indian word for “travel.” My two dogs are rescues from the Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota Reservation. One is Zaniya, which means good health and well being and the other is Dohatu (not pronounced anything like it’s spelled), which means time. With travel, good health and well being and time, I think we’ve got all the bases covered!
