My 2019 sprinter w a 2020 smb west build with white cabinets are plywood...id even go as far as saying nice plywood.

I had issues almost immediately with my late 2016 build from SMB Austin, even where there was zero possibility of direct moisture intrusion. She I addressed it to them, they said the only way to fix it would be to redo multiple cabinets, which they said they weren’t willing to do. Mine is 3/4” ply, and the “venneer” is nothing more than a vinyl sticker. It’s to a point now that I’ve decided to pull everything out and redo all of the cabinets myself.

Even if you used a marine grade plywood it would still eventually swell up and come apart if you dont seal the cut edges. Not sure why these RV manufacturers dont seal them in the first place. They know that this is exactly what happens in short order.
