Installing Grab handles for 2011 RB Sprinter?

Any tips on installing grab handles for the slider door entrance and passenger side? My wife is having trouble getting in and out of our newly-acquired 2011 Freightliner SMB RB110S build. Looking for something for the inside right/front side of the slider opening, and inside left/rear of the passenger door frame. I think the rigid rubber strap handles are safest, but would also consider the flexible webbing ones.

Primarily need tips on exactly where and how to install these without pooching hidden wiring. Thanks!

This outfit makes ones that mount on the doors, but they're pricey!

Installed two grab handles today -- one on the kitchen cabinet (sink / fridge / shelves) and one on the passenger front door pillar. Both work very well, and with the handles at under $6 each they're MUCH cheaper than the commercial offerings at $160/pop.

Photos taken before putting the included plastic plugs in to cover the screw heads. Screws were stainless steel #10 3/4".
