Looking for Photo of Inside Rear Doors of Mercedes Sprinter

Greetings. I am in the process of finishing up design for a SMB conversion of a 2011 Sprinter that is on its way. I'm trying to figure out if there is any space in the rear doors to put storage. I need to see what's behind the "paneling" ... I find plenty of photos of the inside of the rear doors fully assembled, but I need to see how big the "holes" are behind the paneling and how deep they are. The only photo I found after an hour of searching on line turned out to be a Dodge Sprinter's rear doors, which I'm told are different. So, does anyone have a photo of the inside of the rear doors taken when their Mercedes Sprinter was being converted? Many thanks in advance.

Don't know why the doors would be different.

Lists 2006+ in rear doors:

Listed as 2010 Sprinter:

Don't know about the bottom, but it looks like you could get an extra kleenex box above each window!

Thank you! My goal is to find a way to store the fresh water hose and the one-inch dump hose in the doors rather then elsewhere in the coach. Too much other stuff under the couch/bed in the rear (17 gal fresh water tank, water pump, inverter, circuit breaker panel). Prefer not to store them up front. If the "pocket" behind those lower panels is 2 inches deep, it should be possible.

Thank you!

Definitely different from the Dodge Sprinter rear door. Now I know I cannot fit the hoses there. Perhaps I'll reduce the size of the fresh water tank to 10 gal (With 4 gal in the water heater, and only an 8-gallon grey water tank and 5-gallon black water tank, 14 gal should be enough, considering I generally plan to use shore water and dump hookups)

Looks like from meeeach's photos you could go further down with the pocket too.

Yes, it does look that way. I wonder what's behind the structural member above that lowest opening. If it's clear, then it *might* be deep enough to get a rolled up hose in there. Perhaps someone has done something like that with the MB Sprinter?

Looks are deceiving........your forgetting about the curvature of the doors @ the bottom (thiner) and the indentation for the license plate (We wanted bigger cavitives also !!!!)
