Man. when I bought my Sportsmobile on a sprinter chassis I thought "I am getting the "Mercedes Benz" of the Class B RVs" well seems like the local dealer has dealer service department is the one making out like a bandit. Every year that we go for a little trip cost a trip to the dealer. Rear wheel Sensors, DEF sensors/ mandatory service checks even if its not in warranty. I just head the Emission modification update done and picked up the vehicle with a check engine light message. Here we go back again, oh now its an add blue fluid and temp sensor, thank you that will be 2200.00 please, Damn!!

Does anyone know what the class-action suit for the emission service is all about?

There are several threads with plenty of information on this topic over on the Sprinter Forum. I had the service done to my van a month or so ago and have noticed no difference in how the van runs. Some sources say the DEF consumption goes up, I will monitor this and see for myself.
